Bu çal??mada ilk olarak 28 ?ubat 2020 tarihinde Sermaye Piyasas? Kurulunun (SPK) Borsa ?stanbul (B?ST) pay piyasalar?nda aç??a sat??? yasaklad???n? duyurmas?n?n B?ST-30 endeksi ?irketleri üzerindeki etkisi incelenmi?tir. ?kinci ise COVID-19 salg?n?n?n ve bunu izleyen B?ST piyasa düzenlemelerinin 11 Mart Türkiye'de vakas? raporlanm?? ayn? gün Dünya Sa?l?k Örgütü (DSÖ) virüs salg?n?n? pandemi ilan etmi?tir. Piyasalarda olu?an tedirginlik nedeniyle Genel Müdürlü?ü 12 günü piyasas?nda devre kesici tetikleme oran? ile günlük fiyat de?i?im limitlerinde de?i?ikli?e gidece?ini duyurmu? 13 yeni oranlar? uygulamaya koymu?tur. Olay etüdü yöntemi kullan?larak, günleri 2 ayr? olay belirlenerek her iki olay?n da ?lk incelendi?inde sat?? yasa?? sonras?nda endeks senetlerinin de?er kaybetti?i görülmü?tür. marj? düzenlemeleri anormal getirinin pozitif oldu?u bulunmu?tur.
